Clean-out

I’m having a huge clean-out done over at my place. Tomorrow’s gonna be the day when a lot of workmen get their asses over here to carry away some of my stuff. Who could’ve thought… I mean, I’m so lazy. It took a lot to do this but now it’s done. And I’m so happy. I truly recommend doing a big clean-out like this. I can assure you, you don’t even need a third of the stuff you own. It’s all a humongous pile of trash. My entire hallway is crammed with idiotic items like candy machines and super old walkman speakers. Good bye to them now! Haha. As usual, I’m going to link you to an article I wrote.

Magazines

Today I have thrown away a lot of magazines. Oh boy, was it hard to separate from my childhood zines… But sometimes you have to, like when you have to move and practice some feng shui. I’m currently in the process of throwing away every tiny little useless item I’ve ever owned. There’s a lot of those… I’m glad I lived to do this, otherwise someone else would have to take care of it. Wow, I just wish I’d done it sooner.

Tiger Shrimp

Sometimes the smell of fruits de mer (seafood for you who didn’t get that one) makes my head pound. Yesterday I had noodles with tiger shrimp and it was so goddamn salty I lost the feeling in my tounge. Today the smell of oyster from the kitchen is killing me. I don’t know how long I can stand it. I tried to go out for a walk but it was too cold outside. At least I got some fresh air for a couple of minutes. But my jacket smelled a little.

Allergic to Porridge?

Just when I had discovered the greatness of porridge, the ultimate breakfast, I started getting blisters in my mouth after eating it. I don’t know if it was the oats or the jam. But my mouth started to smart and itch. That sucks. I’ve never heard about anyone else who’s experienced this. Allergic to porridge? I could be the only living creature who has this kind of unusual allergy.

I don’t even know for sure if it really was the porridge. But that would be so typically me. In other words, it sucks.

Porridge

Today I had porridge for breakfast. I think I’m going to have porridge every morning from now on. If I eat sandwiches for breakfast, I get hungry within an hour or two. But porridge makes you feel comfortable until lunch. Besides it’s healthier. It doesn’t taste very good though. But who cares at that early hour? The most important thing is to get full. Which you do when you have porridge.

A little guy on the street once thought I said “pornage” when I said porridge. I think he had done too much adult surfing on the net. Poor guy. Little boys can’t be little boys anymore, unless their parents install a spam filter.

Yesterday I saw a tv show about the biggest porridge competition in Ireland. Strange. But the host said the porridge really tasted good, so maybe we should believe him? Maybe tasty porridge does exist?

Do you know where the name Gagge comes from? It’s not about being “gagged” if that’s what you think. I’m not into S&M. It’s actually from Gargoyle’s Quest, an old game for the NES. Do you remember it? It was pretty cool but too damn hard. Impossible to beat, even with the save-state/load-state function on the emulator. The music rocked too. A little similar to heavy metal. And Firebrand was so cute.

Anyway, Gagge is a shortage for Gargoyle. The name was born when my brother said it wrong once. Since then it has been my nickname on the Internet. Pretty cool, huh?

Good Sport

Why does everybody boooo me out when I tell them I like sports? If my friends ask me to go out with them on a Friday night and I’d rather watch the semi-finals then isn’t that my business, not theirs?

I do what I want to do. When I drink beer I drink beer, when I watch my favorite sports, well, it makes me happy! It’s the right of every human being to do things that make them happy (unless they get happy from killing or something).

I used to be just like them, complain about sport nerds sitting in their couch every day, being fixated about sports but now I have become a nerd myself and I totally understand the hype. It’s positive!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say that I will be away on a road trip for a pretty long time. During that time, I won’t be able to post any blogs. I hope you won’t miss me too much. Also, I hope you wish me luck and a good time. Just because I can’t be here and entertain you doesn’t mean you can’t wish me the best. You should. Or else you’re selfish. Besides, when I’m home again, my blogs will return too. And you will all be happy again. So try to stand the wait. After all, it’s just for a couple of weeks. You won’t go crazy just because you can’t read my blog every day like before. Try to do other things, go out with friends, in other words: Get a life! I will be back in notime. It just feels hopeless right now, but things will be easier after a couple of days. I promise.

Zelda: Wind Waker

Call me lame but I haven’t beaten Zelda Wind Waker for the GameCube yet. Now that the Wii is out and everything… Lame, huh? It’s just that, I reached the room before the last boss but I can’t seem to get the energy to just go in there and kill him. I want to beat the game, I really do, but something stops me. It’s not that it’s hard to go to the GC, put the CD in its place, push the “on” button, turn on the tv and get the controller. It’s something more. Maybe I just hate bosses? There’s nothing more to look forward to once the last boss is beaten. And I’m definitely not looking forward to beating the boss either. Bosses are just boring.

Hate your boss? Then work at home!

Computer Gurus

Every time someone’s computer starts having problems with start-up or connecting to the Internet, they call my friend. And he goes to their house and does the same thing every time: Backup data > Format C: > Reinstall everything. After this treatment the computer of course works like a charm. And they bow down to my friend as if he was some kind of computer guru. Sorry to say it, but you don’t have to be an expert to do this operation. But they don’t know that, so they will continue calling him whenever something goes wrong with their computers.

It’s a trap. You help someone once and you’ll never get rid of them. People won’t search for answers themselves. It’s the same if you’re an excellent cook. If you make great food only once, people expect you to feed them for the rest of their lives.
